Sports, Hobbies & Recreation

Sure, movie night is fun and relaxing, but there are seven days in every week. It's time to spend one of them doing something that doesn't involve a remote control and popcorn. Find a sports team, learn to play an instrument, or embrace the great outdoors. Commit to get up, get out, and get going!

"Today, Sunday, 1/16/22 Yesterday I woke up around 8am and got out the door around 9am, I believe. I didn’t listen to music before I left. I got up and took a shower. I went to Starbucks. I’d planned to call Aubin. We’d scheduled a call but he didn’t answer. I spent the bulk of the time catching up with friends and students on WhatsApp. I drank 2 large Chai teas which gave me a single instance of very loose and urgent bowels. It flushed me out. I did very little lesson planning. Jaime texted me and it threw me off my game mentally. I responded and periodically waited for his replies. I made child care arrangements to visit him from 4-7pm. He asked if we could move it to 6pm which would only leave one hour to visit. I cancelled with him and my parents (childcare). I spent the balance of the evening finishing Emily in Paris in Netflix in Spanish. Not productive and attacking the projects I wanted to focus on. A bit of a fail. Emotional fail. "

"I am working towards making the 3 songs a success. I only practiced for 15 minutes on Saturday because my fingers had gotten sore from the sudden activity after the break, but I haven't missed practice a single day. I put in 7.5 hours in Week1. I used to practice for 2 hours daily and my goal is to reach that number again by my 21-day challenge finish. "
