Diet & Healthy Eating
Often times the hardest part about dieting is imagining how long it will take to get where you want to be. But, the journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. So try starting small; cook dinner 3 nights a week, or take lunch to work. But big steps or small, commit today to the most important thing you've got...your health.

HudsonFormality Mar 17, 2024, 8:28 AM"Monday 11th March – navy striped 3pc, pink striped with contrasting cuffs and collar shirt, red, navy and white striped tie. Birthday mean and enjoyable wearing that out – bold and somewhat dandified Tuesday 12th March – black 3pc, blue and white striped shirt, red with thin navy striped tie. Continuing a stripe theme today and going bold into the black. Feels good wearing again, now that I can fit into it somewhat. Wednesday 13th March – Grey with pink Prince of Wales check, blue houndstooth shirt with contrasting cuff and collar, blue geometric tie. A coffee and catch up with a friend in the morning, followed by a relaxing and enjoyed day formal. Thursday 14th March – Grey 3pc suit, blue shirt, navy with red and white stripe bow tie. A bow tie was on my mind when I woke up and just had to be worn over a tie. The bow tie mindset continued all day, quite enjoyable. Friday 15th March – stroller suit, stiff collar, black and white striped tie, then the morning jacket in the afternoon onwards. A very enjoyable day! Full formality on a Friday, especially the morning jacket Very becoming and so enjoyable walking around in. It certainly added to the sub and horn. Saturday 16th March – Evening shirt with stiff collar. During the day it was my cream double breasted, as at the time of dressing it was sunny and felt quite fitting for the day. The afternoon was a change to a traditional black jacket, again feeling more fitting. A formal gentleman in the evening, when it is expected, as well as the day which is less common here. Sunday 17th March – Morning suit, black tie, stiff collar. A punishment look for England losing and it certainly felt like that. It was also the case with the early rising. "View my Commitment

( birthday meal) 2000ml water 1 x coffee. 1x cocktail I attempted to eat the veg when I got home but felt too sick to eat it. What happened? I’m really run down for work, I didn’t prep breakfast and ran late for work so didn’t take lunch with me, then I didn’t come home when I thought I did due to an unexpected meeting at work. I need to bring food with me. I need to remember to prep my breakfast on the weekend. "View my Commitment

flvmbell Mar 11, 2024, 7:45 AM"Week reflection: I’m enjoying eating vegetables, I’m feeling positive about buying healthy food, it doesn’t feel hugely inconvenient. It feels sustainable. I’m feeling really satiated and full like I haven’t really ever done before. I don’t have anywhere near the cravings for sugar that I did have. At all really. I don’t feel like eating sweets at all. Knowing I can’t eat dairy milk chocolate doesn’t cause me huge stress which I thought it would have done. It’s pretty amazing actually, the change on that front. I think I could cut down still on the volume of carbs I’m eating because I still feel like I’m forcing myself to eat when I’m not hungry to get my vegetables in which doesn’t feel healthy. I’m still eating chocolate daily which I think I could cut down. Drinks have not been the healthiest but I think that’s because I’m yet to find the pleasure/indulgent replacement I gave myself with sugar. My organisation still needs a bit of tidying up. Two stars: - I have committed to this lifestyle change for a week and hit my targets. - my sugar cravings have diminished considerably Wish: set myself up for success with organisation; preparing breakfast, always taking lunch, water and snacks with me to work that contribute to my goals. HudsonFormality Mar 10, 2024, 1:32 PM"Monday 4th March – Grey 2pc suit, lilac shirt, pink and gray striped tie. I was fancying something colour also with a touch of class. The grey of the suit and in the tie really helped that alongside the pink. Tuesday 5th March – Navy 2pc suit, pink striped contrasting cuffs and collar shirt, light blue with pink diamonds tie. Settled on the pink week for the week, and certainly enjoying. A new shirt to try and always such a special experience. Wednesday 6th March - grey jacket, navy trousers, light blue basket weave shirt with contrasting cuff and collar, pink with grey striped tie, navy with white polka dot silk. Continuing pink themed week and a first wear of a new shirt. Enjoyable to wear, and fun to wear to the shops to fulfil that requirement. Thursday 7th March – Mid blue 3pc suit, light blue striped contrasting cuffs and collar shirt, pink with navy polka dots bow tie, pink silk. Continuing the theme of the week and was really craving a bow tie today. Friday 8th March – Casual Saturday 9th March- casual Sunday 10th March – striped suit, and stripe tie for reporting. Carrying on the pink themed week. "View my Commitment

ascentvelocity Mar 6, 2024, 6:32 PM"This week was disheartening. I do not know if I'm doing too much or not enough. Before it was simple because I didn't have any choice but to focus on dev work, get referrals, and I could count on my reputation from doing the magazine and my network to get me work. Since doubling down on CSCI all of my efforts were concentrated on becoming a dev work. At the time there was not immediate cost to stop networking and stop being social. I am paying the cost of that now. I have a feeling, my previous clients didn't appreciate my business closure because they don't seem as interested in working with me again. I thought about whether if I just didn't do a good enough job (which is a possibility) but it seems more likely that they don't think of me as reliable for not sticking with it. Closing my business was the right move for my health back in the day but now I'm not so sure. I am also struggling to build my confidence without actively recieving work. I had forgotten how hard it had been to initially get started. To get people to trust and talk to me. It was partly a popularity contest and partly a continuous demonstration of my ability. At a certain point you have to admit the person you are now can't do what you're trying to do and make a wholehearted and painful commitment to being different/better. Anyways. Things I've done this week: 1) Created a prospect list of restaurant clients 2) Launched website 3) Started building free course to act as a lead magnet. 4) Practiced and executed my new content system which resulted in an increase in views and engagement 5) After talking to about 15 potential clients it's clear to me that the interest in me as a social media marketer is greater than the interest in me as a developer. 6) I have decided to concentrate on social media marketing initially because I can provide the greatest amount of social proof. Thiis week I also start tracking my hours. "View my Commitment
