Final Thoughts: When this challenge first started, I was barely an orange belt, having zero songs completed with just an arrangement exercise under my belt (pun intended). I put in a lot of work to get to my blue and I accomplished this goal on 01/28/21 finishing my first song ever! Since then I've put in quite a bit of work towards my green belt as well. My melodic track is done, my sample chop track is almost there, and I have WIPs of the mudpie & preset shred recipes going. Just need to schedule some sensei sessions to get these knocked out! I'm so stoked to have finally joined the Dojo after seeing Dylan teaching for years and never pulling the trigger. I feel like I've made so much progress in the last few months thanks to Cryptochronica, Dylan, TWDs, and the entire community. Everyone at the dojo inspires me to be better and reminds me that it can take time to progress, but it's attainable to reach our goals if we put the work in and show up every day. I love watching everyone grow and level up, constantly sharing what they've created and learned while at the Dojo. This has been one of the best decisions of my life and I'm very happy to have found a family with everyone here! |

| Put about an hour and a half into a mudpie recipe beat that was my favorite from my beat sessions. It's pretty fucking wild lol. Got a little bit of an arrangement going, but I don't think I'm going to make this one long due to it's wildness. Maybe 2 mins. Added OTT to a bunch of things. Panned and added reverb to main line. Added 808 to kicks in "breakdown" to beef up the vibe. | |

| Put about 2 hours into my loop recipe menu. Sorted through the various loops I recorded and organized into energy category. Laid down a checkerboarded 1st draft arrangement with various loops. Put together a simple build, and breakdown as well as outro. Automated some FX. Made Bass line simpler as original one was too much. | |

| Had a 2 hour night time session on a loop menu recipe. Found one of my beats that I liked for this and laid down 36 different tweaked presets on my midi riff. I'll go through them and sort during the next session and start to build up the recipe. | |
