| I messed up in a huge way that could have had the worst possible consequence for our family because I didn’t do a better job communicating with matt. I should have made sure he fully understood my change in plan. I cannot imagine a much worse way for matt to wake up. I will make sure I communicate better going forward and bring Jack when Matt is sleeping so that doesn’t happen again | |

| Today started bad, Maddie was overtired from staying up late and Jack woke her up at 6. She tried really hard to be helpful and made really cute breakfasts for her and jack but then became too controlling of jack and I did a bad job of reigning the kids in. Then I left the mop bucket outside, gave too much repeat information about mop bucket location and check information for the AC repair. Later I asked to order food and thought I was being kind by giving my idea of maximum freedom to matt with choices but wasn’t listening to his preference of me instead saying do you want casa Mia? Then gyros? The Cheesecake Factory and going through options. I also could just accept whatever matt wants. I feel like I’ve had really poor interactions with matt today. | |
