Yes! I’m getting serious about lifting again. I was basically going through the motions for the past 18 months, I was working out 3-4 times a week but not taking it serious and pretty much just maintaining. I was lifting easy weights and not pushing myself super hard.
I’m taking a week off from bench training because I hit a wall the other night. Like I said I’ve been training chest 2x per week for maybe 10 weeks or so and feeling crazy strong on it but the other night 185lbs on the flat bench started to feel heavy! I was like wow time to take a week to rest on that.

I know what you mean about feeling over confident after week 1. That is the time we have to remain extremely vigilant. The confidence I had on day 22-23 was probably my downfall as to why I relapsed. I lost track of days this time for some reason. I might try to focus more on reporting and just not relapsing during this challenge rather than counting days. Counting down when I get close to 30 always triggers intrusive thoughts of PMO.

Yes sir! Clean ups are starting. The weather got wicked cold out here quick. Leaves are falling like crazy. We also had a nor’ easter last week which knocked down a lot of trees so I got some clean up work from that also.
I’ve been sticking to my diet (mostly) getting in my macros. We were out the other night with friends and my girl went to button one of the top buttons on my shirt and it was too tight, she’s like “your chest is getting too big”
Haha!!!! That’s the plan! I’ll just have to buy a bigger shirt. I’ve been hitting chest and arms 2x per week for a while now and WOW. What a difference. I was always lifting on a “bro split” where each muscle group was only being hit 1x per week. Not only is that so 80’s it really only works well if you’re on the juice. I’ve never taken steroids but I have friends who have and it fucked them up when coming off them.
Also just found out my Uncle, who was influential in my early lifting as a teen, has been on TRT for the past 3 years. He’s been lifting since the 80’s and is 58 years old now and still in good shape and big. His last T levels were at 1290. That’s insane. Average for a guy in his 20’s is between like 400-800.
I’d be too nervous to get in anything like that.
