GemCityDad commits to:
$400 a month in savings
Goal Description:
Due to large Bills and expenses occurring at the beginning of the month(car, rent CS) I cannot do weekly. I put in $400 last month(February). The goal Is $400 dollars a month so $100 weekly. Some weeks I may not be able to contribute but if I make up for that week within the month then I have met my goal.

I switched and focused on paying off debt first . Today I paid off $1421.07 of credit card debt. I took some money from my acorns account to do so. Figured Id be better off paying that down first and getting a better credit. I still Have $937.19 in my acorns account. And plan to catch it back up after paying off all credit card debt. Moved some money around but I should save money in the long run. I need to increase my Fico 2 score by 45 points. I plan on doing this by improving my credit utilization. Which has dropped from 86% to 51% in the past few months. I used my stimulus to pay off a card and brought to 68% and today it is 51% if my math is right lol. I created this budget goal to get a down payment for a house/studio but what's the DP worth if your credit is a few points low. |

| I've been broke this past week because I put the money back. Pulled an 11 hour shift with the tree service yesterday and that money will go into the next $400. I'm also going to start working more days with the tree service to be able to put more back. Every other week not conflicting with visitation with Lyanna. | |
