| Reincarnation and cryptomnesia, this is when someone shows a skill had they no previous knowledge of. When someone dies, it's only the body that dies the mind and memories stay in tact, so someone may have been a pianist in 1621, and be born into a non musical family in 1952, then at the age of 7 they can play the piano with no previous teaching, and people label the child "a natural." when really it couldve been memories alread stored in his brain, and now the environment is conducive (eg access to the school piano) he can now play and jis skills can come through. | |
