| I mostly never move the "tone" knob on the guitar, but today after years of playing guitar I found I really like the bridge pickup with the tone darkened some as compared to the neck pickup with the tone full bright. | |

| Loaded up a bunch of different Ableton Pedal presets and I think I can work with this. Need to find some I like and fine tune them. | |

| Trying to find a good / free workflow for electric guitar using VST amp instead of having to switch back and forth between amp and interface in the Ableton audio routing. Can't seem to have both at once. Different ASIO drivers. Picked up the free Amplitube. Not impressed with the free version. | |

| went for an hour this morning, practiced speed picking. 240 bpm 1/8th notes is just above my limit for prolonged picking. 220 bpm I could do fairly accurately. This is news to me. I watched a guy struggle to get ot 160 bpm on YouTube and thought I'd be in the same place. He plays so well other wise. I guess starting off with alternate picking at 14 years old got the habit ingrained in me. I can pick faster for short bursts. Haven't learned true tremolo picking. Speeds never been my thing. | |
