Got to 70 WPM at 91% accuracy! Pretty good. Not sure how much more progress I can make in the next day but we'll see.

A little rushed today. Irritated today because of a clinician not wanting to join the MAC network after doing all of the training. More irritated by Dimitri's response to Nick to immediately cut off his access to JointStrong. I didn't think that was necessary. This guy doesn't have the resources to steal and use the training. I see a guy that is just confused about what he wants. He maybe doesn't know who he is yet. He certainly doesn't have the time to build anything quickly. Also, if he tries to steal it, he'll run into a big problem: the MDT community is fairly tight knit.

I think ultimately Dimitri's reaction was emotional. Just like me he felt hurt from the rejection. I'm actually sad right now about it but mostly that we lost a really motivated clinician. I'm also a bit afraid of what Dimitri is going to do to the culture if he continues to act like that when something doesn't work out. I'm curious to see if there is some blaming language, evaluation, judgement. Or will he look inward and be more focused on his own reactions? All we can control at the end of the day is our reactions to antyhing. I'm hurt right now and I know it. I can feel it in the pit of my stomach. I feel general malaise and just an overall crappy feeling.

I'm going to pay attention to his communication. I'm hoping to listen to Dimitri and here an experssion of any unmet needs if present. Maybe I can give him some empathy if I think he needs it.

As far as the typing goes, my general lousy feeling has also carried over to the typing. I'm worried I'm not going to reach my goals.

I'm up to 67 WPM and certain that the most benefit now is coming from pacing and temp with a metronome. I've arbitrarily decided that when I take my final test on day 21 that I'm going to use the 200 most common words test and require at least a 90% accuracy. This does give me some freedom. I'll spend the next 2 practice days forcing myself to eliminate the backspace and training myself to push through the mistakes and keep typing at speed. I can slow down and regain tempo but ONLY for a very short period before I have to bring the speed back up. I can try to identify how many red words I can see per line that will achieve the 90% threshold.
