Final day. I have been doing the sam harris meditations instead for yesterday and today.
Some thoughts
- this was much more successful earlier on
- this last week was difficult because of (a) reduced sleep; (b) following the election; (c) cricket thoughts. All of these tie you up in your head and it's hard to get out of it.
Overall, I think this was a worthy exercise. Daily reporting is good but Stickk doesn't give you a day to make up missed reports, so the scorecard looks much worse than it really was. Overall, I felt like the skill was developed a lot, which was good. Now it'll fade as I move to other kinds of meditation, but that's how it goes. If I find I've lost the lessons, I can do another iteration of this commitment - but for two weeks, I think. Good job. |
