Talk to my parents who I know aren’t clearly upset by white supremacy. Call them out, and call them in. Ask them to watch I Realized I was Black videos. Find a way to guide my parents through conversation to show them that their actions are now in direct contrast with the values they feign to purport?

| Hi - I have to admit that the format did work that well for my goal and I think I missed 2 reporting - BUT it have successfully opened a dialogue with my parents about racism and this is mostly due to my shift in ability to listen to them -which is painful - they are not radical, they don't really understand the nuances and systemic racism that exists in this country. We are talking more openly and freely and seem very interested in my advocacy and activism and the social mission directive platform I am creating. The work will continue - but I will take it off-line from Stickk... thank you! xoxoxo | |

| This is perhaps the most challenging component of dismantling racism for me personally- speaking to my parents openly - actually it is more difficult to listen to them openly because it hurts to hear it. Making slow and steady progress by making consistent contact with them. The relationship has been tense due of this and the political landscape. | |
