A couple of rough nights, where the 4th bright line was definitely violated and dinner went on for a while, but I'm counting this week as a win. My weight was down in WW for August, so I'm still in Lifetime. I also got some insight about what it takes just to get through a series of bright lines. This StickK contract has certainly helped. I'm not at my 28 days for TCM, though.

Alas. I rezoomed immediately the next day -- having learned a few things, perhaps. A tough penalty, which I thought about, but which didn't deter me... enough. I donated to Kamala Harris and Elisabeth Warren an offsetting amount, but that's not good enough. The countdown resumes.

So sorry to say that I really broke my 3rd Bright Line last night, with a binge that began with "extra" food (nuts) and a drink at dinner, and continued with more nuts, scotch, rice cakes, p.b. and ezekiel cereal. After a while, it became clear to me that I wasn't just continuing my dinner for a long time. Who was I kidding? And losing this stickK contract this week is really painful. Truth is that I could sense that yesterday was wonky from the beginning -- feeling lazy in the morning, prowling around for something, feeling vaguely hungry in the afternoon, and trying to deal with it by drinking tea, ended up fixing dinner early because I wanted to eat. And then just not stopping. The only good news is that I didn't break Lines 1 and 2. Another truth is that my 4th bright line was slipping this week, with 'extra food at dinner, so all the signs were there. Okay, back to Day 1 on my TCM challenge -- reboot and rezoom. As SPT says, though, the good thing about being tempted in the evenings is that you can see it coming and do something about it. I've just got to hang tougher. And not bring Pete into it. Sigh.

This was a successful week, but a little bit rougher. There were a couple of nights in which I got by on technicalities, specifically, messing with the 4th Bright Line of eating more at dinner in order to stave off the potential for a snack later in the evening. I'm still trying to figure out a pattern that will be more comfortable for me. If I'm really hungry, then I should just be adding food to the plan. But alas, I fear I'm being triggered by NUTS, and I should just say No. The problem with quantities also showed up in WW this work, since I was at the top of my range at 135.4. But still in my range! And still holding to the 3rd Bright Line - 3 meals,no snacks. I can do this!

This first week wasn't so bad, because I was quickly able to fall back into the routines I had established for the first months in BLE. It helped that I could look at those nuts and say "picking you up is going to cost me $100." The results also showed at WW: I was down a pound to 134, and hadn't used any of my weekly SmartPoints, which I know for sure is the way to go. No NMD either, which is somewhat related. I think I can do this! ..wait, I KNOW I can do this!
