I commit to not watching any junk social media videos from Facebook, YouTube, etc. especially about MMA/fighting, sports, food, eating, travel, TV/movie reviews and reactions, gossip, porn of any sort, win/fail challenges, cars, tech review and rants, news* anything ENTERTAINING and USELESS FOR MY MIND. Only educational videos for my growth, videos for teaching students, and product/services reviews ONLY for real intentional purchases okay. (*news ok only for classes or emergencies)

| But I have to extra vigilant. Even apple keynotes should not count anymore. I watch the Samsung product video but that shouldn’t count either because that’s not something that I want to buy. | |

| Been pretty good but can’t watch the videos that auto play on Facebook or YouTube. I must be vigilant and say NO TO TEMPTATION | |

| Even though technically watching trailers (I think at least 7) isn’t a foul, I was entertaining myself with online videos which is not fulfilling my commitment. Will be more vigilant. And, I will also try to refrain from watching videos when “using it for educational purposes” | |

| I finally did it and I believe that this is the beginning of something really good. I have wasted so many hours, days, weeks, months, and years of my life watching stupid entertainment. Now, I feel I can actually do other things. Tonight will be the first night I won’t watch social media in bed until I fall asleep. I can actually fill my head with useful things or write in my journal...things that are healthy for my mind. Pumped. | |
