Finally done. It has been a fun experience, typing my favorite novel. I collected no data on my speed and accuracy, so I can't tell whether I'm a better typist now than I was 8 weeks ago, but I've learned that focusing on progress daily progress instead of final goals is more conducive to getting things done. As I had calculated, I wrote 14 pages, 5,991 words. Is that something a professional writer does in 8 weeks? No. Am I a professional writter? F*ck no, so I'm not going to worry about it. There will be greater limits to break. This little, ridiculously small goal is good enough for me--or at least that's what I'm supposed to have learned. Let's see how I apply it to everyday life and future challenges from now on. |

5 days to go! DO NOT DONATE TO THE NRA AGAIN 😊 |

Day 50. Almsot there. I discocered I haven't been using the proper finger position on the keyboard, and that was encumbering progress on my speed and accuracy. Now I have to get used to a new position all over. |

Day 48. For once the last sentence ended just one word over the goal for today. It's nice. I wasn't feeling it today. I should have allowed for on day of failure for this challenge. It would have saved me some money. And frustration. Future challenges will take the fact of imperfection into account. |
