I was unable to wake up early enough to meditate before getting ready for work. I will make up for this time tomorrow morning. My day just went flying by today so I sincerely lost track of time. |
I caught my mind wandering majorly twice, as in the thought just kept going and going until I realized it. Usually meditating feels like it goes by really fast, but I had to open my eyes to check if the timer was actually on - it wasn't. I ended up meditating for an extra 5 minutes haha. Pretty proud of myself for being able to sit tight for that spare time. |
I focused on my mental observations. How darker it got when I shut my eyelids tighter, heavier I felt, and scanned around the room with my eyes closed. Every time I had a thought, I reminded myself that I can think all about it later and set my eyes on a dot. |

I think the most important thing about a goal is to be able to maintain it as you can. By this I mean meditating for 10 minutes everyday is what I would like to keep doing. It goes beyond a goal, it's enough time to incorporate into my daily routine. I could beat myself up about not going according to my commitment plan, but I'm pretty proud of remaining steady. |
