So Excavator man came, worked and went. Garden looks better in some places but horrible in between, Grass is now mud... it will be better but not before winter...
I did not have time to move the strawberries & wood strawberries before he came so some of them are out. I have not had time to fix them after either and it has now been a week since he was at our place. Have been so busy both week and weekend. But the strawberries should be fine. Worse with the roses and the hollyhocks, I don’t think they will make it, but then on the other hand, I didn’t really want them so….
No work done with tomatoes or chilis but have kept an eye on the temperature. I need to pick all tomatoes this weekend but that should be doable.
But the biggie: we have planted an apple tree!! And two more are waiting to be planted, maybe tonight, maybe during the weekend. We are also trying desperately to get hold of a plum tree but that seems to be very difficult. I have one on order but suspect it will be cancelled… yes we are late. |

For the coming weekend and week:
With DH: walk around garden and prepare for Excavator man. We both need to be sure of what he will do as we don't know who will be home when he arrives.
Move some of the wood strawberries in preparation for the digging.
Move the two tomato plants and the second chili.
Pick some chili to see what happens.

Finally booked with Excavator man.
Found out about the chilis.
DS2 and me planted the cuttings - they seem to be fine.
Tomatoes are partly taken care of, and I have a plan for the rest.
I have decided on what type of apple trees we will buy but not sure about the plum yet - think it will be Victoria but will ask at the nursery when we get there. |

So here are some things I need to do:
Set up time with the Excavator man and be sure what we want him to do
Decide on apple trees and plum tree
Get the cuttings into soil
Take care of the tomatos |
