Can't tell if the commitment was overall successful or not -- the key is how do you feel? it seems to me that you have a pretty active lifestyle even without a specific "exercise" session. Yard work definitely counts! I'm thinking of a new contract, but I'm so not-up-to-par these days that I'm thinking it should be some sort of FitBit steps-related thing. A topic for us to discuss in a few days in person. Meanwhile, you keep so many commitments going, with job, family, friends, that I always think of you as a StickK champion! Congrats on your efforts. |

Julie, although I'm not a very visible support to you in this, trust me, I want to encourage you to keep going. I've had a rough transition back from London -- gastro-intestinal distress that has kept me laid low, but if the doc clears me, I'm off to Salt Lake City in the morning.
IN THE MEANTIME, let me say that London was physically quite challenging, especially the first four days where Beth and I squeezed in events morning, noon, and night. Every day I made it back to the room, I was grateful that I had stuck with the StickK challenge this spring, otherwise I don't see how I would have managed all those steps, Underground transfers, and luggage-hoistings that were required. Keep your eye on the prize!
Love you... and I will find time to talk soon.
Your biggest fan! |

Thanks. I've gotten off the dime on my weight loss, after the incredible experience of eating like Al for a week. It was sort of life-changing to have NO sweets and very few processed snacks around (a couple boxes of crackers and some peanuts is all) for a full 7 days. And to not eat between meals. I found I got into the rhythm of it and, shockingly, didn't die! So I'm trying hard to not snack or eat at night. But the exercise piece has to be added. Yes! |

Good for you starting up again... and I get the money if you fail? And yet you're asking me to support you? Conflict of interest, not much. But I don't want a penny -- I want you to exercise! Now that it's summer, it'll be so much easier. So proud of you. |
