Great job!!!! You can be very proud of your success, given the crazy schedule and many temptations. Our WW lecturer (who's very good) discussed detours today -- using the road analogy -- and members of our very large class discussed inspiring stories of taking detours of the plan without getting completely off-track. I am feeling that way about exercise; not giving up though not every week can be a total success. I think it takes time for it to become habit. |

Did it. Did it. I'm feeling very good about this project and know that it kept me on track. Will probably start another contract to get me through the semester. Thanks everybody for your support! |

Did my third workout at the Y today, over 3 miles on the machine, where my results the first week were 2.2 miles... so progress. But still a lot of sweating. I've been very down this week, mostly from pressures at work and recovering from a cold that laid me low last weekend. I do believe that the exercise helped. Sweating is good for a cold, right? Big weight loss this week -- although clearly from loss of appetite -- was incentive also. And this bring me to the end of my contract, that I can only count as a success, despite that one sick week when the NRA got my money. The decision now is whether or not to start a new contract. Part of me suspects that I will not keep up the 3x a week exercise without it. I need to get through the end of this semester-- somehow. So I'll probably sign up for whatever gets me through the end of school. ..we'll see. Meanwhile, bravo! |
