Week 8 of 8
Teryl commits to:
Weekly: Study for at least 1 hour per day in addition to night classes.
At stake: If I study less than 5 hours total, I'll bake something yummy for my Year 11 French class. Term 3: By the last week of this commitment I will have completed the workbooks “Las Claves del DELE A1” and “A2”, and ask my teacher for feedback on the writing assignments. At stake: If the workbooks aren’t complete by the end of the term 3 I will pay for weekly tutoring next term from my pocket money.

Term 3 week 5 (fourth week of commitment) Tuesday - 20 minutes Spanishmooc.com Thursday - 1 hr. skype session with a teacher from italki --- Found an awesome teacher, and one-on-one lessons over skype challenge me in a really good way. Friday - 1.5 hrs. studying with FluentU.com, with flashcards, and revising my notes. And a little time studying over the weekend... but not enough to meet my goal of making up for the week I had the flu |

Term 3 Week 4 (third week of commitment) √ Tuesday- 1 hour with flashcards, Language perfect, joined italki.com, and requested a lesson on Thursday evening Wednesday I came down with the flu and spent the rest of the week in bed with a fever. Monday I studied for a couple hours and went to class like normal. I'm letting myself off the hook for the sick days, but this week I have to study 8 hours total to catch back up. |

Term 3 week 3 (second of commitment) Tuesday - 30 min. Spanish flashcards Saturday - 1 hour with "las Claves A1" Sunday - 1.5 hours with Aula 2 p. 86, flashcards & Spanishmooc.com Monday - 1.5 hours with Extr@ Spanish, Spanishmooc.com, and Aula 2 Making some progress, but the night class is frustrating. I understand everything, but can't say what I want to in discussions and speaking tasks. I really need more conversation practice. |
