Spend at least four hours a week working on Book Two, writing a minimum of 1000 words per week. Work on finalizing illustration - by the end of this goal I should at a minimum have identified the illustrator and made progress of illustrations for Book One.

| Almost got Gus out of India after finishing a very positive and I believe strong scene where he meets a wise man for guidance that helps reignite his journey. This week will focus on cleaning up Book 2 (it is desperately in need of a boundary!) and starting to get the 1st draft finished. | |

| Solid Gus week! Finalized a scene in India that I really like where Gus talks with a wise elder in Hyderebad and worked on scoping Book 2, i.e., where does it end and what keeps us (hopefully) wanting more as readers? | |

| About 1200 words on Book Two...finished/placed a couple scenes that had been dangling and started editing some of the first few chapters...which is fine and well but I need to finish the first draft, which is where the focus shifts for this week. | |

| Well...I was probably a slight bit deficient on the four hr minimum but not by much and I accomplished the spirit of the goal. Delved back into Book 2 and specifically created a fable about a boulder, some turtles and your favorite chocolate knucklehead to teach the kids about how powerful momentum can be! | |
