Sorry, just now saw your comment. That sounds great to me. I share the problem that, despite all sorts of measures to keep me on task once I'm working, I'm getting in the habit of not starting to work until afternoon. So I sympathize. The measures to not goof off once being productive are important though! |

| So, I'm thinking of doing a rather large though helpful overhaul to my resolution. I find that it's not the absolute amount of time I spend goofing off that's the problem, it's the difficulty of getting started. If I change my resolution to be more like "begin work no later than 8 am on weekdays, 10 am on weekends" and commit to a minimum amount of time to work per day I should be fine. Especially because when I start work I tend to continue working. I should definitely also add the addendum of no more than 15 mins/hour of goofing off during productive work time. Does this sound reasonable to you? What input do you have? | |
