Hey there Today I read through the book of 1 Thessalothians 4 I got to learn that it is God's will that I be sanctified,abstain from sexual immorality and learn how to control my own body That I was called to Holiness and not impurity |

Today I read the bible I am currently struggling with lustful thoughts and my social media feed hasn't been helping So today I read through Genesis 39,the story of Joseph and potiphars wife She was showing her advances towards Joseph but he did not give in so she waited for the moment were he was alone and vulnerable to tempt him Joseph knew that his bosses wife wanted him,but his fear for God and respect for his boss could not allow him do such a thing even he could have done it The devil usually tempts me when I fell most lonely and of recent it has been hard to relate with people and sharing my struggles has always been challenging and I easily give in because it makes me feel seen loved and wanted even though I am left feeling guilty and shameful Lord I want you to help me flee every sexual temptation that comes my way,block out content that promotes lust and entrust my mind to you for cleansing. I also want to stop day dreaming and being delusional,may I stop chasing what is not looking for me |

It didn't start so well,because I destructed myself. But I was able to pick up the book I was reading,sheperding women in pain From the pages I read ,I read about how to view and handle pain,that pain is a necessary emotion and that how we respond to pain will determine how we will be I also learn that pain doesn't go away by pretending that its not there,if I don't process the pain I experienced it will still be there The next topic is on forgiveness, just started but will finish off tomorrow. Will write on it mawa Byeee,to living one day at a time |
