I want to spend much less time on my phone (2 hours a day is more than enough). Currently, I waste a lot of time on YouTube and other time-consuming websites that kill my time. I want to develop high levels of focus when working on important tasks.

Thanks @FaithfulWalker. I greatly appreciate your support for this commitment over the last 99 days. Seems I wasn't quite ready to detach from my phone. I've learned a good lesson: I must let go of the notion that a bit of YT, TG, FB etc won't hurt. Instead, I should seek entertainment in other non-digital media: physical books, which I have plenty of. So, I'll begin my next digital detox with that in mind. I promise to not fall for the same tricks of my mind as before (at least not as frequently). Thanks again friend! |
