I love that I expected a March 28th - April 5th window and we're not there. And yet it already feels like a long time. He sent me a very short fb message yesterday at 3pm because I blocked his phone number. I want to congratulate myself for making it past the phase where I would have been the first to reach out! Of course I want to reach out. But my commitment to zero-contact includes replying to emails/contact from him along the lines of "just checking in on you". I wouldn't be ready I definitely still think about him a lot and have even been following the baseball spring training because it's his thing and it makes me feel like we're staring at the same moon or something. It's hard to not reply but this is what the difference needs to be. |

| Last week felt better on the whole. There was a day I found a shortcut off of the highway that I wanted to share with him because it would help his commute but his loss not mine. Yesterday I went to a friend's house for her birthday dinner and had a ton of fun and completely forgot he existed. Then I had a dream where he texted me something basic and I stupidly replied, and we got back into this exhausting ugly cycle and I felt sad when I woke up. | |
