Currently my friend from when I was in boarding school came to visit me in Segovia and has been staying over with me at my aparmtnet. So we've been technically having sleepover together since last week and has been impossbile to go to sleep early because we get caught up in late dinners, socializing, mat night talks and anaging to finish all my tasks as a regular student while also hosting her. However yesterday was my last night sleeping with her so I hope today I can go to bed earlier than normal and manage to sleep before 12am.

Lately I've been sleeping way later than usual, so late that I don't even have time to track down and reflect because it's already the next day so I just give up. It really doesn't make me feel proud of myself at all but I've been practically with no time at all. I feel the day is not long enough for everything I have to do and honestly the first change is how I feel in the morning because I'm unable to wake up early to be productive and that already makes me feel unacomplished. I'm just waiting for this week to end, to finish all my Valentine's delivery orders and start a week with no friends visiting.

For the last days I have been celebrating my birthday since Wednesday, friends from back home visiting and going out at night staying over in Madrid so I haven't really been able to work on my sleeping goals. It's been hard to go to bed early and didn't prioritize. Yesterday Sunday night was the first day I was able to go to bed at 11:15 but then I stayed on my phone going through the pictures of the weekend even though I told myself that it would only be 5min I spent half an hour scrolling. Then again after I left my phone to charge it took me ages to be able to sleep again, for some reason my mind wouldn't stop thinking. I turned on the lights again without checking the time but assuming it was 12am already and started journaling to be able to calm my mind. After that I was able to fall asleep again. Today I will try again and won't take my phone to bed so that my eyes are not looking at the screen right before sleeping and hopefully that can help me take less time to fall asleep.
