@ambear I missed your comment. I have been doing this for such a long time, in different stages. Currently I am living in a smallish flat w/my kids (lived in a house before divorce). I don't have a ton of things but because I have limited space, I can only keep important things or it will get cluttered. I don't shop much so when I declutter it gets better and better. But I still keep things that I should let go, it's still work in progress. My plan right now/next steps: * take advantage of community skip next week to throw away some stuff from balcony * put some toys on the "free to grab" table * pass on the sports/club clothes * find out how to send in the bag of clothes to Sellpy Then nothing more until after trip. |

Reporting a Yes! Such progress during the week. * Dropped things of at the big dump/recycling place. Did a last-minute decision to also get rid of the floor lamp that has standing broken in the walk in closet for years. It will never be fixed and now I've gotten rid of it. Magic :-) * Gave away nice kids clothes and stuff to kind neighbour who has grandkids. They have helped me so much so it was good to give something back. Very nice almost not used rain gear, a jacket, a watch etc. * Put things in storage. Car things, pillows from balcony, mattresses and more. Happy! But there is still a lot more to do :-) |
