This was a CRAPPY week. Got sick Monday, remained sick until today (Saturday...did work Mon and Fri). So. I didn't get all my minutes in, but I'm calling it a wash. I did some. I didn't do some. And I'm still sort of alive. :). I have created a little game with myself for dong some notes during work - some points (minutes) earned for notes done for that day, notes from olden times, phone calls made (may adjust that to calls made before 2), all ear/skin notes done before I leave, anything with follow up done before I leave, etc. I did actually do some notes at work yesterday - 9 - which isn't a ton, but probably about 1/3 of the day, and that's not terrible!

225 minutes out of 225 minutes. Man, it was a struggle. Still have some catching up to do, but I'm doing just fine.

The last month was CRAPPY. Worked on a lot of frustrating cases, spent a lot of time outside normal work hours researching and calling for consults, calling clients, etc. Review was frustrating. Home euth that we messed a ton of stuff up on (Jaxx) was frustrating - I think we're crediting her back for everything. The mistakes were AP's, not mine, and I don't feel defended at all. The burn - also not my fault, and I did everything right and was straightforward, and it doesn't matter. The stuff she posted and the responses from her followers that she "liked" were so hurtful.

I can't be perfect. I want to be, but I'm not. And no one else is either. But the stakes are higher when I (or my team) make a mistake. People who mess up at Starbucks have to remake a drink. I have to apologize and own up and try to make right mistakes on people's living loved ones. And sometimes it still isn't enough. I understand why vets have such a high suicide rate. I'm safe, but it's so hurtful.
