| I went in today to see if I could get my motorcycle race leathers altered to fit. I hadn't put it on since crashing on track in 2018 or 2019 (can't recall exactly when). It was so hard to get it on and I was sweating like mad once I did squeeze into it. They could alter it but it would be adding more than 12" in places :( I felt so ashamed at how much weight I had put on. There is no point to paying the $400 or so it would cost to have these leathers altered when I can get a custom suit for about $1,000. This will be my reward as I start shedding the lbs. I really want to be back on a racetrack with the hubby & kiddos by next spring. | |
