NinjaMode commits to:
Train for the 5k hot chocolate run on April 13th. Training plan:
1. Walking 30 mins 3-4 days a week
2. Run/walk intervals 20-40 mins 4-5 days
3. Slow running 3-5 miles for 3-5 days a week
4. Run medium and fast runs with cross training (alternating days) 3-8 miles 5-6 days a week
5. Running with intervals and pacing 3-5 miles 5-6 days a week working on speed and alternating with cross training
6. Rest 1-2 days before the race but maybe slow run a mile.
7. Race day! Give it your all!

I did some walking today. It was longer than my goal time but it was slow. Seeing my average pace on my watch was sad. I started stronger and was pacing at 22-24. Not great but it was something. I eventually slowed down as my ankle and legs started to hurt. I did sit down for a bit and forgot to turn my Fitbit watch off. So it slowed my pace to 71. I’m sure that’s because of the forgetting to turn it off when I sat down. But still hard to look at that’s where I’m starting but I supposed I have to start somewhere. The important thing was that I actually took the time to exercise. My watch said one and half hours where my goal was for only 30 minutes. I think realistically when I sat down it was probably more like 40-50 minutes of actual walking.
