Unexpected benefits of early AM wake ups:
- Seeing wildlife on runs
- Learning how to poo during runs
- Watching less TV
- Eating slightly better because not slamming Oreos while watching TV
- Spending more time with my wife
- Going to bed at same time as wife
- Not stressed about lack of exercise during the day
- Learned “auto-brew” feature on coffee maker
- Reading more news
- Cocktail hour most days because I’ve already exercised
- Peloton app on TV is cool
- There are other things, but overall has been great....will sleep in tomorrow tho

Aiden’s hot streak came an end last night, but I was lights out before 10 which was welcome progress on that side of the equation. That said, I am very tired today. I am still sitting on the couch reading, sipping coffee that only just now is awakening me. This book is good tho - Adrift by Steven Callahan. |
