Watched a TED Talk called “To detect diseases earlier, let's speak bacteria's secret language” by Fatima AlZahra'a Alatraktchi, in which the speaker discusses and explains the secret language that bacteria have, and how they use it to coordinate attacks. She then goes on to say that, by being able to translate this language, we can find out dangers that traditional bacteria tests cannot find, and that by utilizing it we can make the world a safer place and keep people healthier. |

Watched a TED Talk called “Our dangerous obsession with perfectionism is getting worse” by Thomas Curran, which is about how, while striving to be your best is a positive thing, the current day culture of perfectionism is bringing us down by constantly making people think that nothing they do is good enough, and how we need to try and change this culture. |
